The Junkyard
This section contains maps who have been abandoned at some point during their development. At present my mapping is rather sporadic. For some time now I've been working full-time as a professional games developer. Since I've been spending all day every day being a happy little games designer, I've found the impetus to carry on doing it in my free time is somewhat less than it might once have been!
This is not to say that I have no further interest in mapping, but it has certainly been trickier to maintain my focus for longer, complex projects. Turtlemapping has provided useful short-term goals, to ensure my output hasn't dried up completely, and Speedmapping was good fun. For the most part though, I've been tinkering rather than building, keeping up with developments in GtkRadiant and Q3map2, trying to acheive as total a comprehension of the Q3 engine as you can get without being a coder, and generally keeping my hand in enough to ensure the continued health of the bit of my brain that remembers Radiant keyboard shortcuts!
So here are a few partially completed projects and experiments, which may or may not eventually become complete maps.
